Cancellations

If you need to cancel your appointment we urge you to contact us and let us know. Missed appointments will incur a standard £25 charge.

Pet Care

Premier Dog Wash is not liable for any pre-existing conditions or problems found during the grooming process. All dogs we groom must be vaccinated. If we find any problems with your dog during grooming we suggest that you refer to your local vet for advice and treatment.

De-matting

We would hope that all customers would let us know if your dogs coat is in poor condition, it is understandable that some dogs can get into a bit of a tangle. However depending on the severity of matting a new quote will have to be given due to the time it would take to complete the job safely. This will be discussed over the phone and confimed upon visually examining your pet.

Aggressive Dogs

Unfortunately not all dogs take to being groomed, even by their owners. At Premier Dog Wash we try to be as inclusive as we can whilst holding the safety of the groomer and your pet with highest priority. Therefore, if you have any apprehensions concerning your dogs temperament to being groomed (e.g if your dog may not like having its nails attended to or a dislike to water) as long as we know we will do our utmost to complete the job. Sometimes dog owners are not aware of their dogs likes and dislikes as the dog may not have ever been groomed or the owner was never told about the dogs behaviour after previous grooming sessions with another company. Therefore if we think that the risk of having an accident is too great, then we will explain our reasons as to why a certain aspect of work was not carried out or cancel the appointment completely. This is done in the interest of both the groomer and the dog.

We politely ask that you make sure your dog has had chance to relieve itself before grooming.
